Week 33 Lesson 165
“The main news sources that I rely on and why.”
I do not rely on many sources of news media. As I have learned, they are often false and misleading. My device relies on whatever pops up when I open google, which still isn’t the most reliable, as it could still contain false and misleading information, and still manipulated by political interests.
Week 32 Lesson 160
In January 1992, would you have predicted a smaller or larger Pentagon budget in 1993? Why?
A smaller one. They were making cuts and, driven by budgetary imperatives, recommended cutting defense spending by millions of dollars. They were still trying to recover from the Cold War. Inflation was still in full force and they were trying to find their feet again. In 1992 I would’ve expected a vastly smaller Pentagon budget.
Week 29 lesson 145
What would you miss the most if you had to go back to 1955, as in Back to the Future (1985)? What would you miss the least?”
If I were to travel back to 1955, the first thing that comes to mind would be my job. I would miss all my friends and coworkers, just spending time with them. I would miss my family and all my brothers and sister. I really don’t know what I would miss besides the high prices in grocery stores and the price of gas. I think i’d also miss the cars we have today, the ability to pick up speed easily. I would definitely miss the truck i drive to work.
Week 2 lesson 10
Why do average schools not cover the American history as taught by Gary North?
Many say history is to be studied for the purpose of not repeating it. Whether it might be memorable for its positive effects on our world, or negative effects, it helps us solve the mystery of how civilizations functioned and what we can do differently to change our civilizations today.
There is a catch, A group of people. Or should I say a whole establishment wants us to conform to their beliefs and theirs only. These people are our everyday college professors, scientists and people. And there are 2 reasons why this has come to be. The first is simply because there is an agenda, and just like any other country who wants to involve socialism/communism to their laws , the agenda must enforce what the government wants it to. The second is that professors just do not know. They may have not gone that deep into their field, which is not a good thing, or they have been given information that they have never bothered to ask questions of.
